An online generative writing workshop
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Extra! Extra! Read all about it!
These days, nobody seems to wants to read about the news. It's just one depressing scroll after another... But it can be a rich treasure trove of inspiration. In this workshop inspired by the TV show, we will get pun-tactic with our headlines, find the odd character/person out, fill in the blanks for the most bizarre headline, and mine the news for writing inspiration.
You'll often hear that truth can be just stranger than fiction, but this workshop will prove them wrong! You will leave with a lot leads, laughs, and even some stories that people will want to read about.
You will need to bring: A newspaper/magazine or news items that have caught your eye recently.
