Flash Laundry

with Anika Carpenter

Flash Laundry with Anika Carpenter
An online generative writing workshop

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Despite, and often because of, its inherent drudgery, its Sisyphean nature, laundry has inspired artworks, inventions, stories and songs.

Laundry will be our springboard for new story ideas, but you're just as likely to write about grand inventions or raucous performances or criminal capers as you are to write about a sundry of dirty smalls.

In this workshop, we'll look at laundry through the eyes of artists, scientists, inventors, musicians and writers and see what kind of flash fiction comes out in the wash. There will be a series of laundry-inspired writing prompts and opportunities to share what you have written if you would like to.

Come, put a micro through the mangle! Soak a short-short! Hang a drabble out to dry!
